Alternative kilowatt

The scientists of Belarus have begun to develop a domestic model of biogas plant. The pilot project is realized on the territory of subsidiary enterprise of “Scientific and Practical Center of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for agricultural mechanization” – pilot farm “Zazerye”, situated in Minsk region. In laboratory conditions there will be worked-out the operation regimes of the plant, will be defined an optimal composition of raw material, as well as will be designed import substituting equipment that will be later produced by the enterprises of Ministry of Industry

Scientific cooperation in the sphere of bio-energy

The interest in the usage of bio-energy can be explained by its numerous advantages. Biomass is a natural and continually renewable resource. It is converted in various kinds of fuel. Volume and kind of fuel that are received from biomass depend not only on the total volume of renewable biomass, but also on its quality: humidity, organic content, physical features.

VII International Research and Development Conference of Institutes of Agricultural Engineering of Central and Eastern European States

With the aim to participate in the Conference the representatives of 12 states had sent their reports and materials: Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Besides, on the Conference there were the representatives from Sweden and Israel.
